An enquiry

Sending an enquiry stores the leg id, your name, email address, passenger count, any note you wrote, the time, and the fact that you agreed to be contacted. That record is kept outside the public site data, so it can be passed to the operator or broker who published the leg. It does not book a seat and it does not charge a card.

An email to the operator contact is sent only when that notification is switched on. The page that accepts the enquiry says, in the result, that no booking or payment was made and that the next step is the operator's own link.

The alert list

Joining the alert list stores the email address you submit and the region you asked about, after you confirm the link we send. That confirmation is the only mail the site sends for the list.
